Home01 — Modern Villa
A coastal villa organised around a shaded courtyard and a 22-metre lap pool.
Set on a half-acre plot a few minutes from the sea, the Courtyard House is built around a central open-to-sky court that pulls the sea breeze through every room. Deep overhangs, a raised plinth and a palette of exposed concrete, teak and Kota stone keep the house cool through the Chennai summer.

Every room opens onto either the courtyard or the pool deck. Cross-ventilation is designed first; openings are sized from wind studies rather than from elevations.
The roof slab cantilevers 2.4 metres on the west, shading the glazing through the hottest hours while framing the view of the palms.
